These Terms of Use govern access to the Forest Villas & Tents Resort website and the information, enquiry tools and links made available through it. By using the website, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
Website content is intended to help visitors understand the property and plan a possible stay. Descriptions, photography, sample rates, inclusions, menus, experiences, seasonal conditions and operating hours may change. Images are illustrative of the relevant accommodation or service but weather and natural surroundings will vary.
You may browse the website, print reasonable extracts for personal trip planning and contact the guest desk about legitimate resort services. You may not interfere with website operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape content at scale, misrepresent your identity or use the website for unlawful or fraudulent activity.
Completing the website stay form prepares details for your review; it does not automatically send them or create a reservation. A booking exists only after the guest desk confirms availability in writing and you accept the quoted rate, inclusions, payment schedule, cancellation terms and any property-specific conditions.
Unless stated otherwise, displayed rates are in Canadian dollars and may exclude applicable taxes, service charges, optional experiences or transportation. A written booking confirmation will identify the rate and payment terms that apply. Payment information should be provided only through a payment channel designated by the guest desk, never through an ordinary website message.
Change and cancellation rights depend on the rate or package accepted at confirmation. Minimum stays, deposits, non-refundable periods and weather-related conditions may apply. The written confirmation controls if it differs from general website content. Guests should contact the resort promptly if arrival plans change.
Guests must follow confirmed occupancy limits, check-in and check-out times, quiet-hours guidance, fire and water-safety rules, smoking restrictions and reasonable staff instructions. The resort may restrict activity that threatens safety, wildlife, property, other guests or the quiet character of the site. Responsibility for damage may be addressed in the confirmed stay terms.
The resort includes forest paths, shoreline, docks, water access and weather-dependent activities. Conditions can change quickly. Guests should use suitable clothing and footwear, respect posted closures and evaluate whether an activity is appropriate for their abilities. Guided or equipment-based activities may have separate participation requirements or waivers presented before use.
We welcome advance discussion of accessibility, dietary and service needs. A request is not guaranteed until confirmed by the guest desk because accommodations, terrain and third-party services differ. Contact us before booking when a particular feature is essential to the stay.
The Lantern Salon is restricted to guests aged 19 and over with valid government-issued identification. Entry, table availability and service may be subject to property rules. Guests must follow staff direction, set personal time and spending limits and avoid gaming when impaired or when play is no longer enjoyable.
The Forest Villas & Tents name, logo, website design, original text and original visual material are owned by or used with permission of the resort. Except for reasonable personal trip-planning use, content may not be reproduced, republished, modified, sold or used to imply endorsement without written permission.
Transport providers, activity operators, mapping tools or other third parties may have their own terms and privacy practices. A reference or link does not make the resort responsible for a third party’s availability, content or performance. Review the applicable terms before purchasing or relying on an external service.
We aim to keep the website accurate and available but cannot promise uninterrupted access or error-free content. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the resort is not responsible for indirect loss caused solely by website interruption or reliance on outdated general information. Nothing in these terms excludes obligations or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may update these terms to reflect website features, resort operations or legal requirements. The version posted when you use the website applies to that use; confirmed reservation terms remain governed by the written agreement accepted for that stay.
